الحفاظ على التغطية العالمية بالتمنيع طوال السنوات الخمس الماضية
منظمة الصحة العالمية تعقد حلقة عمل لبناء القدرات بشأن الوصول إلى المجتمعات المحلية التي لم تتلقَ أي جرعات تطعيم
28 آذار/مارس 2023 - عقدت منظمة الصحة العالمية حلقة عمل لبناء القدرات في القاهرة، مصر، في الفترة من 19 إلى 22 آذار/مارس 2023، لدعم البلدان في إقليم منظمة الصحة العالمية لشرق المتوسط في تخطيط التدخلات ورصدها للوصول إلى الخدمات واستدامتها في المجتمعات المحلية التي لم تتلق أي جرعات تطعيم.
والأطفال الذين لم يتلقوا أي جرعة تطعيم هم أولئك الذين لم يتلقوا أي لقاحات روتينية. وهؤلاء الأطفال مؤشر لافتقار المجتمعات المحلية إلى الخدمات الصحية الأولية. ويُعدُّ التركيز على الأطفال الذين لم يحصلوا على أية جرعات تطعيم أمرًا مهمًا على وجه الخصوص لأن ذلك يتيح فرصة حصول الأطفال الذين تلقوا اللقاح الأول على اللقاحات المتبقية أيضًا على الأرجح.
ووفقًا لتقديرات منظمة الصحة العالمية واليونيسف للتغطية الوطنية بالتطعيم، فإن 11% من الأطفال في إقليم شرق المتوسط (أي نحو 2.1 مليون طفل) لم يتلقوا أي تطعيم ضد الدفتيريا والتيتانوس والسعال الديكي في عام 2021.
