WHO focuses on the following priority programmes in South Sudan.
Emergency preparedness and humanitarian action
Health promotion and protection
Integrated prevention and control of communicable diseases
Besides these programmes, WHO also provides consultants to support the Ministry of Health in health management information systems, maternal and child health/primary health care, supply chain management, operational planning and mental health.
