مقدمة
يتم الاحتفال بيوم الصحة العالمي في 7 أبريل (نيسان) من كل سنة في ذكرى تأسيس منظمة الصحة العالمية لغرض زيادة الوعي بقضية صحية عالمية رئيسية. وشعار هذه السنة "المقاومة لمضادات المكروبات: إن لم يتم اتخاذ إجراء حالياً، لن يتم الشفاء غداً."
المقاومة لمضادات المكروبات ليست قضية جديدة، لكنها قضية متزايدة الخطورة؛ وهناك حاجة لجهود عاجلة موحدة لتجنب العودة إلى الحقبة الزمنية السابقة للمضادات.
وبالنسبة ليوم الصحة العالمي 2011، أدخلت منظمة الصحة العالمية إضمامة سياسة من 6 نقاط لمحاربة انتشار المقاومة ضد المكروبات.
