Water, sanitation and health
Many countries in the Eastern Mediterranean Region face severe water shortages and lack clear policies on water requirements for health.
CEHA works with countries to:
- develop/update national drinking water and wastewater reuse standards
- develop national policies on water requirements for health
- promote best practices in hygiene and sanitation
- monitor and evaluate water and sanitation sectors.
