23 July 2018 – Dr Hala Zaid, H.E. the Minister of Health and Population, and Dr John Jabbour, WHO Representative in Egypt, visited Aswan Heart Center on 16 July 2018. They were welcomed by Professor Sir Magdi Yacoub.
The visit aimed to discuss collaboration between the Ministry of Health and Population, Aswan Heart Center and WHO in the prevention and treatment of heart disease and related clinical research.
