Directory of medical libraries
The library and health publications production and dissemination programme of the Regional Office is developing and updating the directory of medical libraries in the Eastern Mediterranean Region in order to increase cooperation and collaboration among medical libraries in the Region as a prerequisite to develop and sustain the Eastern Mediterranean Medical Libraries Network (MedLibNet).
This comprehensive listing of medical/health libraries in the Region will provide a unique resource to facilitate the flow of information between libraries and coordinate regional and/or global efforts to improve access to health information. Currently, the directory of medical libraries includes 665 health and medical institutions.
