Background

WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean provides technical support to countries in the planning and implementation of national programmes for the control of tropical diseases and facilitates regional/international cooperation.

Call for expression of interest

In view of strengthening and scaling up its technical support to countries in the control of tropical diseases, the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean would like to expand its expert database to compile a list of potential consultants for assignments in the Region.

How to apply

Send an expression of interest letter to Contact us indicating in which of the following tropical diseases you have technical expertise.

• Leishmaniasis (cutaneous or visceral)
• Leprosy
• Lymphatic filariasis
• Schistosomiasis
• Soil transmitted helminthiasis.

Once you are preliminary accepted to be part of the roster of experts we will contact you to request that you submit your curriculum vitae and any other relevant information.
