Participants were also encouraged to apply for the MENTOR-VIP programme which is an opportunity to network with global injury prevention experts. In addition, a meeting was held a few weeks later to discuss the incorporation of violence and injury prevention modules into the medical, nursing and allied health professional training curricula in Oman.
