The workshop was held at the Pasteur Institute, Tunis, Tunisia, using the TDR implementation research toolkit and included 16 participants from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Islamic Republic of Iran, Sudan, Tunisia, Yemen. It was facilitated by experts from Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia, in addition to WHO staff.
The meeting focused on:
- Defining and contextualizing implementation of research issues
- Planning to execute the research
- Quantitative and qualitative data analysis and presentation
- Dissemination of results and research findings
- Monitoring and evaluation
- Research costing.
Grantees worked on their respective proposals to improve the implementation plan.
