About the programme
The vision of the vaccine-preventable diseases and immunization programme is to ensure that no children die from a vaccine-preventable disease. The programme aims to control, eliminate or eradicate all vaccine-preventable diseases in the Eastern Mediterranean Region through promoting the use of vaccines and technologies of assured quality and ensuring safe immunization practices.
