Together towards HIV prevention, treatment and care for all
World AIDS Day is an important annual occasion during which we get the opportunity to raise our collective voices and take action to trigger and support an effective and sustained response to the growing AIDS epidemic in our Region.
The 2006 regional World AIDS Day campaign calls upon all political bodies, social entities and individuals from all ages and all walks of life to get involved. Throughout the countries of the Region, everyone is called upon to engage with and actively participate in the regional effort to curb the HIV/AIDS epidemic by 2010.
Based on the goal of universal access, the Regional Office is promoting an all-year-long campaign under the slogan: 'Together towards HIV prevention, treatment and care for all'.
