Expert from Aga Khan University visits Oman

As part of a regional study commissioned by the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean an expert from Aga Khan University visited Oman to review the integration of noncommunicable diseases in primary health care in Oman.

This information obtained will be incorporated into the regional study which aims to provide a situation analysis of the best practices, gaps, and challenges on this issue. It is envisioned that the study will provide data that will inform the work of the WHO in scaling up the health system response to noncommunicable diseases.
