The 65th World Health Assembly in WHA65.22 agreed to hold an open-ended meeting of Member States to thoroughly analyse the report of the Consultative Expert Working Group and the feasibility of the recommendations proposed in their report, taking into account, as appropriate, related studies as well as the results from national consultations and regional committee discussions, and will develop proposals or options relating to: research coordination; financing and monitoring of research and development expenditures.
