Training in advanced management and administration skills enables managers to respond to changes brought about by advances in technology and informationThe Ministry of Health of Iraq, in collaboration with WHO, conducted a training course from 13 to 17 May in Istanbul, Turkey, to strengthen the management and administration skills of 30 office senior managers working at central and governorate levels.
During the 5-day course, participants were introduced to advanced management and administration skills to enable them to respond to changes brought about by advances in technology and information. The training will also assist them in establishing a support network and problem-solving.
Representatives of the Ministry of Health in Iraq and WHO emphasized the importance of building the capacity of support departments equally, especially in the areas of advanced management and administration, to achieve the ultimate objectives of improving health and improving the responsiveness of Iraq’s health system.
