She shared her story and expressed her gratitude for the health services provided by the clinic.
“My name is Hayat Yasin. I am 75 years old. This is the first time I have accessed this type of clinic. I have high blood pressure and a cough. I am an internally displaced person from Sinjar Mountain; I lost my livelihood and home before being displaced to Dohuk. In this camp I live with 10 family members in a shared tent. I received good service today and I'm grateful for the health services being provided by this mobile clinic. I was examined by a doctor and received the medicines that were prescribed.
"I am thankful to the doctor, WHO, Saudi Arabia for funding the clinic and the health department for this support”.
The mobile clinics have been purpose built to address the health needs of displaced populations residing in places with limited access to health care services.Many others like Hayat continue to receive medical services through the deployment of 12 mobile medical clinics throughout Iraq.
